Bought for sister to use 2016 Tacoma off road short bed inferno with everything.
1)First rock cracked windshield at about 2 weeks old.

2)Second hit pole in parking lot scraping door and denting cab and truck bed about 5 week old.
Is this going to be one of those bad luck vehicles ??????????
I've never seen or driven it yet.
Your thoughts and comments are welcome.

cant tell if you're saying that she drove in to a pole or if a rock hit a pole and magic bulleted itself in to the door...

Captain Hindsight thinks you should have invested in driving classes rather than a new truck.

Yes good point. She cant buy her own vehicle so her brother buys her one then is asking what he should do when there is damage done. Suck it up and fix it everytime she does damage or take it away from her if she isnt responsible. I cant believe your asking such a retarded question. Quit enabling her. This has nothing to do with a bad luck truck, i bet if you bought her a chev it would still get beat up just as bad. Or maybe this toyota has a bad mojo lol.

I think that people often don't value things that are given to them. When we earn our posessions by working hard to save our money we appreciate what we have.

    None...yet
I heard from a buddies sisters boyfriend who knows a guy at corporate. Toyota is aware of the "bad luck" problems. Said its a tolerance buildup during manufacture. He said he bets there'll be a TSB this summer but corporate is still collecting all the chicken bones, eagle feathers and hogs teeth for the luck cleansing procedure kit.

Don't fix anything until you get it back from her. That way you can do it all at once, and you won't be rewarding bad behaviour. It's only my opinion, but I don't believe there's any such thing as bad luck.
