I have ab 1000 individual blackcat firecrackers. Anyone know of something mildly interesting to do with them that makes a large boom :D

start a fire and throw them in it. at our 4th celebration we had a big bon fire going and after all the big fireworks were all gone there was a ton of black cats and little shit left in a card board box. my little brother in law decided to just throw the hole box into the fire...well there were a few artillery shells left in the box that made for a good time! haha

lots of it. put all the blackcats in a pile and pour some gas on them and make a trail of gas and light it.

    Not enough.
take the powder from all of them and pour it into a 5 gallon water jug, rig a cap with a pretty long fuse and duct tape the cap section -overdo it with the tape-, light and enjoy your chest getting a little thump :)

either on the fire or stick them upside down in the ground, and somehow tie all the fuses together... light and watch the ground go boom!

go into the woods and find wasp and hornet nests and throw em at it. its surprisingly entertaining. also bring along a shotgun for when you get sick of it. just shoot the whole nest out and run like the devil. yes this is from experience and no i did not get stung. also, flamethrowers tend to piss them off good

Stuff small handfuls of them into x-mas tree globes, light and let them bob on water. It helps if you put a rock or something else in them to make them float about 2/3 submerged, tape most of the top (to keep pressure inside) but leave the fuse sticking out and send them out like cheerful little battleships. Really cool explosion/splash. Can also be tossed a good distance before exploding...

    Eye protection recommended...

Probably so and it's not a good time of year to get them on clearance. Craft section at Wal-Mart/Target/similar might have clear ones on sale, although having to go to the store and buy them takes some of the fun out of it.

Alternative #1 - take a couple of jars of Vaseline/cold cream and stuff 12-14 of them in it with a combined fuse. Light and step back... *splort*

Alternative #2 - get a few dozen cascarones, peel back the paper caps (easy when you wet the edge) and stuff them with a few firecrackers. Re-seal, light and toss... huge confetti explosions that scare the crap out of people!
