Depends on what your heart desires…

Have you thought about repainting or get a good quality wrap? For sure get the mechanical side fix first and possibly a small tune up.

Paint it and fix it, its way cheaper than a new truck. the blinking 4x4 is probably just an actuator no big deal common issue and easy fix. paint is a little more expensive but well worth it.
Here is my 06 with 255k just repainted last year.
if you want to sell it, dont trade it, sell it private party to get the most $$$$ especially with a truck with such low mileage.
Honestly i think you can get close to 20k for your truck with such low mileage.

Based on the color I am guessing you had clear coat failure / oxidation but the paint was still "sticking" to the metal.

I don't know how paint adhesion issues are handled especially since it is happening in multiple areas - pressure wash it like a house??

Clear coat and base coat failure, the roof was rusty, the front of the hood was down to the bare metal as well but not rusting. The factory paint really sucks on these trucks, I'm starting to see 3rd gens with clear coat failure, usually starts on the hood and roof.
