What do you guys do with the new tires that came with the truck when you get different tires? Seems like a waste to just leave them at the tire shop.

Some tire shops will buy them from you if they’re basically new takeoffs or like stated above put them on craigs list
There will always be a buyer but you may just have to wait a little bit for the right one to come along.

I ride on the tires until the tread bars come to the surface. Then I put on the next set of tires.

My money tree died many years ago....actually never made it past the seed stage.

I usually wait till I've used them up. But I've bought new tires in the past that proved so bad that I had to replace them. But I've always sold the old ones to get at least part of my money back. Most tire stores will give you as good a price as you can get it they are like new.

I'd suggest if you dont know, you might not have really needed the new ones.

I'm thinking of switching to Coopers with the 3 peaks symbol for year 'round use instead of buying a set of winter tires and wheels. I hate swapping tires around twice/year and doing two vehicles would suck. I guess I'll just take the take offs home and see if I can give them away to someone in the neighborhood.

Thanks for most of the replies.

Is there seriously anyone that would actually just leave a brand new set of take-off tires at the tire shop?? I sold mine with 700 miles on Facebook for $500. Took less than a week.

I gave my stock tires to my buddy that runs a garage...didn't take long to sell them. He made a few bucks, and i made a few.

    Stock and staying that way
Will thirdgens do a brake torque/stand? I can't figure out how to turn everything off so it will roast the tires.

I've been running Cooper at3 4s in 265/75/16 for just over a year on Ohio. No complaints, ride nice, good handling, quiet, good rain/snow, had them on light trails an farms did fine.

Pile them up on the curb with a "free" sign and like the movie. They will be gone in 60 seconds.

So I am changing the tires on my new Pro, and what are people doing with the stock tires they take off? Is there a market for these? I feel weird just throwing away brand new tires...

Sold mine on ebay. Cost of shipping took up half the profits lmao. But still netted around +$450 by selling my stock OR wheels and tires.

I've been sitting with a set of 4 new 17"ers in my garage for 2 years, tried to sell on Craig's many times but no takers and I won't eat the shipping since it is SO much. Stuck them up in the rafters and forgot about them lol.
