Hey all, I've got a basically stock '17 SR5 and the sound system isn't great...Any suggestions what to do with it?

I want to get a sub and it's an access cab so there's that...Where do I put the sub? None of this compact sub business...

Judging by what I've found on this forum so far it sounds like I want to swap out the speakers/tweeters, get an amp to power them and a sub. With a set up like this could I have a good sound without having to change the stock head?

    Thanks in advance. TW rocks!!

I have a 18 SR5 DCSB. I installed Kicker 6X9 components up front and 6 3/4 coaxs in the rear. I had an Alpine 4X40 amp sitting in my garage for the past 10 years that I installed under the drivers seat. I kept the stock head unit and wired it in with a harness from *********. I did not cut any factory wires. The sound is much better and the bass is very deep even without a sub.
