I would like it to be lifted 2.5-3 inches

    BilStein 5100s set @ 0
    OME 885 Coils
What is a good AAL size and brand that would get the rear end in between stock rake and level

this would be mostly DD and I was thinking 265/75/r16 tires
    Thanks

I'm really glad that you took the time to do some research before starting a thread! (No seriously, I'm not being sarcastic). What you have listed is the perfect set up for what you're trying to achieve. Any higher than the 885s and you're most likely going to need new UCAs, which run ~$450. For the rear, lift it 1.5-2". You can do this with a single AAL, or a 3 leaf progressive AAL. I would recommend the latter, only because they ride smoother. I had a single 2" aal in mine, and it rode a little rough. Nothing terrible, but I wish I would've spent the extra few bucks. Brand doesn't really matter, as they're all the same. You can buy your kit complete fromn headstrong.

I'm very close to ordering this kit from HS with the 3 leaf progressive AAL and 884 coils for my 2013 AC OR 4x4. This should lift the front 2.25" and rear 1.5" without the overload leaf. Will this lift maintain the stock rake? I may add a camper shell later on and do not want the bro lean. I prefer the stock rake or level either with or without the camper shell. Pardon my ignorance but which leaf is the overload leaf? I've searched and found people talking about it but not which leaf it was.

The overload leaf is the very bottom one that looks just like a straight piece of thick metal. The purpose of this is to keep the leaf springs from getting negative arch when the bed is loaded up to the max. The overload itself doesn't affect ride quality at all. If you decide to leave the overload in, it raises the rear 1/2" which is the thickness of the overload leaf. If you can leave it in, it's preferable.

Thank you for explaining that. With 2.25" front and 2" rear lift, will this be close to stock rake? And do you think adding a camper shell will create a close to level truck or still have a little rake (either is ok with me)?

Very much so. I had 2.5" front and 2" AAL in the rear with a camper shell, and it appeared level/some rake. I didn't actually break out the measuring tape.
