I have owned 2008 & 2012 FJ's they have rear differential locks. They were awesome in the snow! What can I expect with 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport, No rear diferential locker?? Thanks

With the right tires, no problems at all. What tires are you running?

4x4 and go easy. I don't see why it's not do-able. As long as you aren't in a hurry to get anywhere there shouldn't be any problems. I regularly drive through 12-18 with very few issues. I would recommend throwing some extra weight in the back just to be safe but that's not a necessity

Another question trick to changing map lights . Haven't looked at it too closely, Have the LED's for them & dome light. Just pry where the tabs lock them in?

And +1 on adding some sand bags to your bed. Especially with the AC. I have 200# in my DC and very rarely do I need to go in 4WD on the roads.
    Where do you live?

I have the same truck. It handles So Cal Mountain snow like a champ with the open diff. I'm assuming you live in an area where conditions can get a bit worse than what I've seen.

Having driven full size trucks all my life this is my first mid size and its hands down the best one in the snow.
I have snow tires on mine, dropped down one size (17 to 16") and do allot of driving in rural areas in the wee hours before the plows are out, barley use my 4x4.

i drive 40mi one way to work . in the winter i allow some extra time. i start at 5am, most of the time the plows have not been out. i have the stock dunflops, they work fine. i will upgrade to some michlens when the time comes. drive smart, not to fast, and don't tailgate!
