New England and family requires 4WD and a Double Cab. Been looking for months now, best private party deal around.

 

I’ve always been confused on what the tire size is supposed to be. Mine came with 265/75/16s BFG all terrains stock.. never knew if it was some dealer thing where they put them on or not

 

4WD was used on the occasion plus she ran it locally to keep it moving.

 

265/70 is the stock size. I believe some of the base 6 lugs had a more narrow 245/75. Don't hold me to that one.

you'll very seldom get the opportunity for a low mileage, garage kept GEN2 Tacoma for that price, plus since its a private sale no Tax was involved, best deal you could have hoped for.

 

my 2011 SR5 came with 245 75R 16 = i have 245 70R 17 on 17" TRDs now.

 

My 14 DC has the 245 75R 16’s as well

 

those tires run fine, I have them, bigger tires is all about vanity not performance, bigger tires eat more money out of your wallet and aren't necessary for an everyday driver. I would run what you got already on the truck they are probably as new as the truck get ur money out of them

 

Agreed. I put Michelin Defenders (which are great, and I always run them) on my old T-100, 265/75 16, they were an LT tire in a load range E. I'll never buy that heavy of a tire again. Honestly, it rode like shit. I still run Defenders but I have the 245/75 16 on my Taco currently and they ride and handle great. Going to a bigger tire looks great, but I'll probably stick with these.

The lighter weight of the tire also makes the truck feel a little peppier. I read somewhere, on the internet, that it adds more hp than new stickers......
