    Have your son get on that rust in the bed and undercarriage with some sand paper / scotch brite pads and some primer! Then top coat the bed with some bed liner paint and the undercarriage in some decent spray paint. Old trucks are a great way to learn a lot of practical things! I'm currently in the process of overhauling a first gen. I'm learning a lot in the process :thumbsup:

    That's the plan for sure! Best way I learned was getting my hands dirty on an '81 first gen. :sawzall::welder:
