I also have a 2013 doublecab. Am pulling a 19 Ft Wilderness trailer. Trailer weighs 5100 ready to go. Just returned from a trip to Oregon from S. Calif. Total miles 6900 of that towing was 1600. Had no problems because I drove 55 to 60 mph. Will slow in the hills and will get terrible gas milage. I got 10 to 11. Just need to get used to the trailer and you will do fine. Am planning another long trip next summer and have no concerns about if it will make it. Good luck.

24 foot Nash with all gear weighs in at 6000 lbs. weight distribution hitch, friction sway control and a secondary trans cooler.. pulls it like a champ.

I also have dbl cab v6. Weight dist hitch and trailer brake. Trailer weighs 3600lb fully loaded with 420lb tongue weight.(small toy hauler) It pulled ok but wish I kept my full size. Also just got new 6 ply tires and hope that will help the "squarliness". All n all it does the job but I have moments that I wish for a full size.

    Stock for now.
I have been looking into getting trailer also and I would figure getting a trailer that weights less then 4500 lbs as you figure family, food, water, and all your extras. That would add 500-1000 more lbs.

It will be a slow ride and an extra tranny cooler a must.
