I dunno, the bug remover can was an impulse add-on when I was buying a "fillar" cap.

    B.E.S.T Bug-off.

Spray on, and wipe off with a damp rag. I found it when looking for something to remove bugs from the front of my camper after a trip. Also removes those annoying black fly specks. My local RV store used to carry it, but I had to get it from Amazon last time.

I keep a spray bottle full of the green "bug removing" windshield washer fluid. Spray all the buggy areas, let sit for a few minutes, wash truck as us usual.

I came up with this years ago at it has never failed me.

    Get a 1-quart spray bottle.

Fill it 2/3 full of water.

Get a fabric softener dryer sheet (Downy, Bounce, Snuggle, etc.) from the laundry room.

Roll it up like a cigar and insert it into the spray bottle.

Replace the cap/sprayer and shake to hell out of it.

Wash your truck to get most of the dirt off.

While the truck is still wet, spray heavily with the "bug juice" you just made.

Take another dryer sheet and use it as a rag. The bugs will practically wipe right off.

When you're done hose down the truck again because the bug juice will leave a residue if you don't.

Magic Eraser sponges? You know those are basically 3000 grit sandpaper? Of course they take bugs off....

I like using Turtle Wax Bug and Tar. If you have a wax cost on your truck, I recommend not using any bug/tar remover. Only use soapy water and let the bugs marinate in it for some time.

Works well on the plastic and I don't see any scratches. Not too worried about it.

I like the guy who recommended the hand cleaner, just make sure it’s got the pumas in there. That surely will take the bugs off and then some!

In the motorcycle world for our visors/front end we just get a wet paper towel and let the bugs soak for a few min then they wipe right off. Same concept, just spray your truck down or use that foam soap and just let it soak those annoying little fucks for a bit then they should wipe right off. :)
