I have all the parts to lift my 2012 double cab 4x4 (billies 5100 all 4, ome 885s, 1.5 in rear blocks, uniball ucas, driver lean spacer, and new wheels/tires). Im not a mechanic by any means but I am somewhat handy with tools and tend to fix my own stuff around the house or at least I try too. I plan on using the floor jack method to take off/on the stock springs/shocks but im not sure what else I NEED to have handy to complete the job. Just wanna make sure I have all the tools needed as im not sure I will be able to make multiple runs to the parts shop if my truck is on jack stands. Thanks in advance for the replies.....and yes I realize aal would be better than blocks but its just for the meantime until I can get some Dakkars.

You need a socket set 12-19, wrench set, jack, jack stand, pliers, big screwdriver or pry bar and last but not least..... bfh. You will/might need deep and long sockets. For the front replace the uca first and bolt it in then undo the sway bar link and lower control arm bolts to drop the coilover. You will have to loosen the lca cam bolts too so it can swing down. I know it's tempting but do not try to do all of this with the uca off. You will have problems with the abs and brake lines not being long enough. The rear is straight forward. I jack the back up high, put jack stands under the frame and use the jack to raise and lower whatever side I'm doing. These are all just recommendations. There is more than one way to do it. It's good to have a buddy there too. A extra hand is nice in some parts of the install but not necessary. Have fun!

You might want to consider New U bolts and Center pins for the rear.

Some blocks have spot for the spring pin to go and a pin for the axle. If you have that you are covered.

The only reason I say this is because I ended up just cutting my old pin off. Then when I put the new on, I tightened the nut and then hammered the bolt end so it would never come off.

Just something to consider. And new pins are a few bucks.
