what tools do you keep in your 2nd gen tacoma

    I keep stuff back there too. I did something unusual. It may work for you too.

    I organized my sockets into plastic zip lock bags. The wrenches are velcro'd together. And the drive ratchets and extensions are in a one gal zip lock bag. I labeled the outside of the zip lock bags with a sharpie, so I know which sockets are in which bag. Then I put all the tools in their bags into a brown paper bag from the grocery store. I then firmly rolled the paper bag closed. The brown paper bag insulates the tools and keeps them absolutely silent at all times. It may sound unorthodox, but it works.

    tow strap and a maglite. i still have a warranty so toyota can pay for a tow truck.

    4.56 gears, rear trutrac,DT header, 235/85r16 Duratracs, 2nd filter pulled, inter.wipers, Cruise control, Factory alum. whls/winter tires(2nd set), Afe pro Dry-S , Dumbo eared flaps cut down.
    No actual tools yet, but i have a tow strap, w/p flashlight,2 set work gloves 2 set nitril gloves some shop towels 2 rags,2 gbg. bags, 3 flares, 1 bottle water, psi ga., camo foam pad, small parts for fixing chains, (winter) I add chain but never have needed em, old jkt, 2 emerg blnkt., toe/hand warmers (2each),

    Doesn't swallow up the room in a reg cab either since the cheaper 1/2 is put in the bed boxes
