What do you keep in your truck in case your out and need fix something? Any cool multitools or small kits? I'm trying to think of stuff to add to the Christmas list since people keep asking and I have no clue what I want.

I got a kit from the dealer that has some basic tools, first aid kit, jumper cables, etc. so that stuff is under the rear seat. I also added a 12mm wrench to fit the factory tonneu cover bolt so I can remove it if needed. I was thinking about adding a few things from Harbor Freight since they probably won't ever get used.

A basic kit behind the seat with sockets, metric and standard, different screw drivers, allen wrenches, etc. Also have a first aid kit with basic supplies and a flashlight. Actually, that needs new batteries so I need to pick up some new ones. Got a tire repair kit as well. Four ratchet straps with some bungee cords. Need to put some jumper cables in there. Small folding knife in the console for cutting random things.

Never fixed a buddies. Never had to fix mine either for the most part, but things happen. When you are out on a trail in the mountains and need to plug your tire and tighten a few loose bolts, it comes in handy. It's not like it takes up a lot of room. Plus it's nice to have all that with you camping.

I'm kind of surprised Toyota didn't supply a wrench for the tonneau cover.

I did use my ratchet straps to get me out of the mud once years ago. It never huts being safe then sorry. The only time I really see myself needed hand tools is when I'm haling and at that time I have my trailer that's loaded.

I do have to say I'm very lucky. My past 3 tacomas I never once broke down.

all I have is duck tape.
years ago I bought a mid size trailer, I didn't have a tow hitch
but I did have a knight stick and a roll of duck tape. so I duck taped the
knight stick to the bumper, hooked up the trailer and duck taped the trailer
tongue to the knight stick and I was good to go. fortunately no cops saw this.

I use duck tape on my motorcycle helmet when im riding towards the sun, a
strip of it across my windshield just above my view acts like a sun visor.

we held up a drive shaft that fell off while four wheeling with duck tape(temp fix obviously).

temp fix for radiator hose leak

the guy on the movie the martian sealed his space suit from an air leak. lol
I guess duck tape is nasa approved.

I could go on but you get the idea.
