I want to put original toyota or lexus wheels on my tacoma like some newer and bigger wheels then the original 15' inch wheels they came with.

I've had a similar idea for mine and so far I've only found threads/photos of 2nd gen owners swapping out wheels from the Highlanders. Looks good, but I dunno how it works for 1st gens. I don't have actual figures to back it up, but I think the offset on 2nd gens is a touch more positive than the 1st gens. If other folks know otherwise, PLEASE correct me because I really want to know.

Edit: Y'know, I've been thinking about taking the wheels off my '02 RAV4 and seeing if they fit my truck. I think I'll do that sometime this week/end and see what's what. The 96-05 RAV4s run 215/70R16s though which would be a bit on the large side for the 5 lug 1st gen tacos. Would probably need a much smaller tire like 215/55R16s.

Edit #2: Nevermind, the center bore on the RAV4 wheels is too small. They wouldn't fit over the hubs on the Tacos.
