    Low, mid or super?

Here in AR the low and mid can have up to 10% ethanl.

Several stations now have super with NO ethanol.

I try to run the super in my small engines, but run all the others (depending on cost) in my truck and car.

What do you run and why?

I assume the gas in your area has ethanol in it.

If so has it caused you any problems?

I never had problems with my 96 tacoma and am not looking for any with my new one. :)

previous owner put 80,000 miles on my truck on regular gas (all second gens are supposed to use mid or high grade... atleast the 4.0ltrs) but i decided not to change it after that many miles.

I run 87 in my 2011 4.0, nary a problem in 60,000 miles. I run it mostly because it's cheaper than the others and I usually fill up at least once a week. My record is 4 times in a week. Commuting over an hour to work sucks sometimes. My wallet jumps out of my pocket and runs away when I pull up to a pump.

    91. It's only a few bucks more per tank, so why not?

    Low.
How many posts to this thread before someone says they use premium b/c it yields better gas mileage.

LOL, I have heard that premium does yeild better gas mileage.

Now as far as small engines go, the only reason I run super is because they set for a while and I read where ethanol in the low grade gas breaks down someway.

I am by far no expert.

An engine doesn't 'get used to' a certain octane. You can start using 93 if you want. I often switch between 87 and 91 depending on how much cash I have. Never had a problem. If your truck starts running funny from switching octanes then something isn't right.
