I am in definite need of rear leafs. I just want your guy's options on the strongest rear leafs. I can't make a decision on which brand. I want 2.5" lifted ones btw. So do you recommend a certain brand, something that wont go negative anytime soon and can take some abuse?

    Thanks :)

I went with the OME dakar leaf packs and they put me up 2.5" exactly if I recall. I think All Pro makes a 3" pack but it's supposed to be a little softer than the dakars. Alcan will make a custom set for you if you give them a call and explain what kind of driving you do/what you want to do with the truck.

Just saw you're a 1st gen, not too sure on that then except for Alcan.

    wat?
the manufacturer will depend on what you want the leafs for. if you want flex and dont care about load capacity, go AP...if you want the same load capacity, go alcan/dakar

I want flex as well as being able to hold upwards of maybe 300 pounds. I want strong ones that will hold a heavy weight just in case i need to haul something really heavy.
