I just got the new Samsung Omnia for Verizon wireless and must admit that it is much better phone than I thought it would be. The phone is not only responsive but has a lot more features than its targeted nemesis the iphone. I dont think that the Omnia is a iphone killer but does open up the drawing board for more improvement in the cell phone PDA world. Favorite feature I must say is the ability to download clips straight to my 8 gig hardrive from the internet.

Crackberry Curve 8330 I picked up a month ago.

My 4th LG chocolate cherry died again. So I was eligible for the Crackberry.

I'm on the Verizon network. Great discount through work.

Lots on 07 ... getting started on 19
well, there is one issue i would have with gettin the iphone, id have to get an extra package just for it like i did when i had the blackberry curve2 just to send/rec pics. i did pay $450 outright for the LG... dont know how much the new iphones are now

i had to exchange my incite the other day for another one bc there was issues with the phone. so far the new one is doin just fine.

i also got that jawbone headset which seems to work pretty well so far. only issue ive had is when i put my phone in my back pocket to walk around and talk, people hear static for some reason, even when i dont move around

I have an older version Motorola Razr.

I first bought a phone because my girlfriend used to worry about me when I'd be out sailing. Being at the mercy of the weather sometimes a 3 hour race turns into an 8 hour drift. We're married now and I'm not sure if she still worries but I still have a phone. If nothing else it's a back up form of communication on the boat

I want a phone that makes and receives calls.

I want good battery life and it goes a week between charges. (Longer if I turn it off at night.)
I want it to be small.
I want it to be cheap. (It was free with a contract.)

I don't need or want all those "features" that are never as good as the devices they try to imitate.

    Text messaging - Disabled
    Web access - Disabled
Camera - Never used. I have a real camera
Video - Never used. I have a real TV
