what type of spark plugs do you suggest

    Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Yokohama Geolander AT tires , Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover, Redline hood struts, unifilter on air pump.
    The iridium ACDelco spark plugs are made by NGK. In fact when I first started selling them, the boxes had NGK plugs in them. They easily go 100,000 miles in the GM trucks, but that doesn't mean they are the best plug for a dual overhead cam vvt-i Toyota V6 engine. I would take Chris' advise and use the OEM Densos. JMO.

    alright thanks. i hardly know anything about the tacoma engine. besides its a V-6. so im guessing im stickin with the OEM plugs

    $12 IKH24 Denso 5346 Spark Plug
    IKH24...they are meant for F/I engines...but after talking to gadget he said they maybe a little overkill for a N/A engine...but won't cause any harm or damage to the engine what so ever...

    haven't had a single problem since they were installed...

    have you seen a decrease in gas mileage?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    They wont really cause a problem, but the ignition was designed for nickle/copper plugs. Why spend the money for no gain? And in some cases, a loss?

    nope I have not seen a decrease in MPG at all...I am running the TRD CAI, DTLH, and APR X-1. I average around 420+ miles per tank...between 21-22 MPG...

    those who are losing mileage and getting problems with ignition might have installed them improperly...they may have even gaped them improperly...

    The people who I know that have had these issues have changed more plugs than some people have changed underwear. I have seen them, and tehy were installed and gapped propperly. I have even seen iridium plugs throw a CEL on some Tacomas. Im glad they are working for you, but but they surely dont work for every truck.

    that's weird that there are a bunch of members here who have tried using iridium spark plugs and have had problems...

    I know of a ton of members on XRU.com that run
    $12 IKH24 Denso 5346 Spark Plug
    IKH24 whether they are F/I or N/A...none of them have had any problems...and some of these guys who are F/I race on a weekly basis and put down some pretty impressive dyno #'s have not had any misfiring issues...nothing what so ever...

    Gadget also told me that denso made an even colder plug...they have the IKH26...I'm not quite sure if these spark plugs are made for E85 injectors/fuel...but according to gadget these plugs are made for those putting down 400+ RWHP...

    ok choice is made stock plugs are going back in.
