I was unable to keep the plastics on the rear wall, but did manage to stuff 4-5 washers on the rear seat bolts to push the rear seat forward about 3/8” which allowed me to keep the plastic on the rear of the seat at least. (This mod is somewhere in these forums, but they use spacers which are a bit more difficult to come up on than washers). This allowed for a 10” sub with pretty large excursion to fit and not vibrate off the seat back

I'm fine with losing the plastic, and figure it will mount behind the driver's side rear. The spacers to keep the seat plastic might be nice.

You should be able to get a Type S behind the rear seat in on the driver's side. Had a box made by Mr. Marv and I was able to fit a JL 10" W3V3 with a top mount depth of 5-7/8". You will need to add spacers to the rear seat bolts, remove the child seat anchor on the driver side, and pound flat/remove the two small brackets that are behind the storage bin. I used 1" spacers for the rear seat bolts which gave me plenty of room for any sub excursion and I was able keep the plastic on the back of the rear seat.

This was with 3/4" spacers. Had to go up to 1" because the seat would rub on the mounting ring when folding it down, but no more issues since.

Nice. It's a lease so I don't want to get too wild but miss my bumps when I drive this instead of the Audi.
