I really want to get a full 3 inches of lift in the front of my XtraCab V6 w/5100's on all 4 corners, but it seems like spring size and lift amount is really deceiving. Im considering either the adjustable coilovers for the 5100's, OME 881 or 882 springs, or the Eibach 620# springs. On the Toytec site it says that all of these springs will provide 3" of lift, but from what i have read on the forums that isn't true. Which of these options will give me a full 3" of lift while maintaing the best ride quality. I will also be getting a 2" AAL and a set of DuraTrac 265/75/16's.

coming from a guy who doesn't have a lift yet, you can get your 3 inches with adjustable 5100's. though that much will require aftermarket UCA's to help with alignment, aftermarket coils, and the diff drop to help with your CV angles. . . thats just my trolling knowledge, not fact. bump.

in my less than sober state i failed to realize this was in 1st gen section, though most of what i said still applies. however, i know much more about 2nd gens than 1st gens.

2.5 is the most. you shouldnt use the top plate spacer on first gens. seconds gens it ok. the eibachs give you 3 inches or more. if you go that route be sure to set the billys at 0 cause the springs are the ones that give the lift.

The eibachs give more than 3" of lift on 1st gens, and around 1.6" on second gens-
When I put mine on, I got a good 3.45" of lift with the bilstein's set to "0".
(1st gens CANNOT handle a lift coil and billy's set to anything but stock 0)

Eibach= three full inches on first gen. 5100 alone can only lift 2.5, and since you would be reusing worn stock coils, more like an inch and a half or two

So what i am hearing is go with the Eibach springs but my heart is still telling me to get the adjustable coilover kit. I would really like to save the 150 bucks on the springs alone but im still worried i wont get 3 inches.

You WILL get 3" of lift with Eibach springs and probably a little more until the springs settle or you get an aftermarket bumper then you will probably be right at 3"
