Lots of different brands and whether they are a true slider or not. Look up RCI, Relentless FAB, CBI, CaliRaised, Westcott, Toyota I think has a fake one.

Toyotas version is definitely not fake, beefy construction. Just tucks closer to the cab than most

The old version (2nd and 3rd gen) mounted to the cab not the frame, so yes very fake. Guess they updated it.

Yes the older gen rock rails were attached to the cab which rendered them useless. These new 4th gens are now frame mounted, just wish they stuck out a bit further

Got the same truck. Love it!

Except for one thing: the Damned fuel range (220 miles on a full tank!, seriously?!)
So, that will be my next upgrade (as soon as someone comes up with a bigger tank replacement), does anybody know whether that exists, yet?

Did you drive it to E or just believe what the onboard computer is telling you?
Even at E, there is still more gas in the tank (~3 gallons)!
Is it still the 21 gallon (80 liter) tank?
Top it off, zero the odometer, drive it for around 200 miles, top it again, divide the miles by the gallons... THAT is your mileage... times the size of your tank for the real fuel range.

The GX550 has a 21gal tank and the base Tundra has a 22.5gal tank. All in the TNGA-F family, should/might fit.

The Spec says 18.2 gal tank capacity. I haven't tested the true MPG yet. I was referring more in a broader way. The problem, being a small engine, I can imagine it'll be highly dependent on the driving conditions (city, freeway, number of traffic lights, sport vs normal, etc.).

Maybe... yeah. Previous vehicle was a Camaro ZL1, so it's a bit hard to throttle down (still craving the accel :bikewheelie2:)

Good point. I'll investigate that option. Thanks!
