This was my 2006 that I traded towards my 16. I moved about 80 miles away but was still loyal to the dealer I got this from. I did the trade with them, and my old truck followed me and is now owned by someone in the next town over. I flagged them down one day and told them what all was done to it. They had no idea how to work the on board air or the locker I put in it.

    IMG_20190507_195332.jpg
I graduated to an RTT about a year after getting my 16. No more making shelters. The only thing I kept from the 06 was the winch, but now in a hidden mount. This picture was taken in the Maine north woods.

    Past cars include
    2003 Saturn Ion
    1990 Mustang LX 5.0 hatch
    1986 Mercedes Benz 300SD
    1993 Mazda MX6 4cyl
1968 Firebird that I did a frame off on and sold for 1/3 what I had in it.

This taco is going to be my last truck for a very long time. The wife and I are hoping to add a 996 Carrera S in the next 5 years or so.

I've had a '96 Tacoma for 24 years, but did purchase a 2018 TRD Sport about 18 months ago, but not sure it would be considered it an upgrade, since I still have the '96.

Volkswagen Golf R. I love my Tacoma but I miss that car everyday. Before that a Jeep GC SRT...thing was a hoot. Bought the Tacoma mainly to drive for a few years before I give it to my son. Then I’ll get something fast again.

Had a slew of 3rd cars though. Currently have a 93 MR2 turbo and a 93 Mustang. I like to cone race.

Funny how much the 3rd gen dwarfs the 1st gen.

I used to putter around in an old Ranger. Needless to say, the Taco is a big upgrade from that.

I downgraded from another TrD pro 4 runner I had.
But I needed a truck for some things..so I sold the 2017 4 runner for a few grand more than I paid for it.

still have the blue 4 runner though

Downgraded from a 98 Wrangler. Would have bought a new Wrangler in '18, but Jeep decided to screw up the steering. Didn't chance it, since I'd had Toyotas before and they were reliable.
