It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.

My buddy's Ranger bumped me off a pile of dirt with concrete mixed in that I accidentally found couple nights ago..guess I couldn't get up and over it and onto the hill in 2wd..high centered because of ground clearance :)
Guess crawling doesn't work on that kinda sheezy.

I've gotten close, but never have been completely stuck yet. I usually off-road alone, so I avoid the really chancy stuff. Fell off the road to the Crest once into really deep snow, but managed to shovel my way back out.

I pulled out a family in a Grand Cherokee once up in the Jemez in the winter; dude didn't even have a shovel with him, but had his 2 babies & his wife. He was stuck in 3-4' of snow. They were looking at a 30-40 mile hike out in deep snow if I hadn't shown up.

Also pulled out an older couple in a Buick in the Pecos; they were not from NM and were just exploring, I guess. Their car was belly-deep in caliche mud. It took some work to break that suction.

Pulled out an f150 once. I've been stuck 3 times and managed to dig myself out each time...that was before I bought a shovel. Being 2wd, open dif, and street tires I wasn't stuck too bad. Back when I had my 4wd Sonoma I wheeled harder, can't remember how many times I got stuck. I miss having 4wd...

I've been pulled out by a big Dodge, a Ford Ranger, a Nissan Frontier, a 1st gen Tacoma, and a big Ford. A GMC tried to pull me out, but couldn't.

I've also been able to get unstuck rocking the truck, and by having people push the truck back and forth.

On a happier note, I've pulled out a 2wd Ford Explorer.

These fucking things don't have any recovery points anywhere... I ended up hooking my tow strap to her LCA and hoping it didn't bend (yes, to top it all off, it was a her)

Also got pulled out by a half ton chevy once too... both were in snow on my old bald Duelers.
