The over 100 miles home. Then the next day I got asked to haul a trailer all the way back where I bought the truck. I actually got to see my old trade in one last time

I went jet skiing on that lake. (I'm from pittsburgh) We also went to canyon lake which we liked better. Next time I drive to phoenix (this June) I need to do some offroading though. I did a trail meet with some guys at cleghorn. My trucks a little more off road ready now however.

first, gas station. @#&#&%* dealer wouldnt fill up the tank...gas was still around $4
second, headed for the hills. which was quite interesting. new (to me) truck, snowy/muddy roads, no weight in the bed. yeah good day...barely made it home in one piece. but it was fun.
then i brought it over to show the folks. dad had the damn thing disassembled in record time - had to check things out. then took mom for a drive, or rather she drove. and nearly threw me through the windshield as she stomped on the gas to get out of the driveway...very quickly she learned how much power a toyota v6 can have.
