Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Haha, they are. I got a 67 and it's definitely a man's truck. Rides like a running horse and the first 2 gears are not synchronized, 3rd and 4th are barely synchronized. That's why I don't understand why people complain about 2nd gen manuals, they are so easy to drive compared to old truck trannys.

growing up, my best friend's dad was a shade-tree mechanic, so he always had old junker cars in various stages of repair around. when he wasn't home, my friend and i would try to drive any car that would start and appeared to have wheels on it. most of the time it was a heavily-oxidized red, mid-to-late 80s renault alliance. we taught ourselves how to drive stick in that car. they had a 1/4 mile gravel driveway that we'd haul ass up and down! it was great fun! we'd have to re-rake the gravel to hide the 180s and slides and burnouts we were doing though so he wouldn't catch on.

pretty sure his dad was on to us though... haha! :)

66 Ford Custom 500, my fathers car. I was probably about 12 and out of the blue, my father just pulled over and asked me if I wanted to drive. I did OK, it was a three on the tree.

old dodge pick up my grandaddy had to drive around the farm as a work truck. It was a piece of shit, but I used to drive the wheels off that thing, it finally died this past winter and its on the trailer to take it to the scrap yard. The truck pulling it is a 2000 3500 duramax flatbed, that was probably the first truck I drove on the road. Now he has a 1994 nissan frontier, that he bought from one of his friends to for my little cousin to drive around, he loves it as much as I loved that truck.
