On my recent four state trip, a friend in Montana noticed the lense was broken on this. What light? Doesn't turn on. Can't find a lense if that is what can be replaced, just a bulb of what I saw was for this, but the bulb seems ok, not sure. Below the headlight pod. Time to break out the owners manual for a silly light?

That is your driving/fog light. Lense is part of the light assembly. People are changing them out for aftermarket all the time so you may be able to pick up a set cheap. Bulb is not working it is replaceable but wont be protected without lense.

Does that stupid thing detect "fog" on it's own? The other side doesn't come on either, on the same circuit, so if one is out, the other won't work? I'll see if I can find a part number by looking in the manual or how to get at it. My Civic had to have part of the bumper removed.
    Thank you.

There is a different switch on the light stalk for those to come on. One should work even if the other is out. You can change the whole light out from the top or some people just take a few bolts out of the fender flare holding the wheel well plastic and go that route.

Owners manual, mystery revealed. Separate switch. Thank you. Have to take my ignition key back out to see of they come on with the switch in run position.

For the record, you want me to believe that a guy with a 3 yo truck and 3 yo TW membership doesn’t know what a fog light is or how it operates?

Most modern vehicle I've had, fancier than my '07 Civic.
You got it, even though I'm retired, don't have the time to live here. I have much more of a life for what little it is, beyond TW. Don't care to read much here, not a well moderated forum. I was assuming the fog light function was incorporated into the head lights. But I was sticking my neck out for negative comments and got em.

Yes, just tried the key. Not straight forward like my old Courier or LUV. Getting old, don't see stuff like I should. Made it home ok from my 3200 mile, three week trip.

Sorry but there are a lot of wannabe Friday posts lately...my cynicism may have gotten the best of me. Glad you figured it all out.

With help here, thank you guys for the input, should have known better than posting before at least saying I read the manual. Aftermarket lights are looking pretty good or someone's old ones.

Just post a WTB thread if you want some OEM people might have lying around.

Id suggest keeping an eye on, and/or posting a WTB in the BST section. Folks go to LED pods, or different bumper and may be willing to part with them. Ebay specials are substantially less, but so is quality.
