1987 4runner. It was a piece, but an awesome first car. It had a 4" lift and 33's and the removable top was sweet during the summer. I'd still have it today, but some lady cut me off and it was totaled.

I don't have many pictures, but here are a couple.

My first car was 1983 Corolla (baby) like the one pictured but, it was white with stylish black rubber bumpers and steel 13" wheels.

It was the first year for the new 1.6L (Hemi style) engine (never leaked a drop of oil). This engine was way more powerful than yours!

Wait for it...Wait for it...90 hp @ 4800 rpm, torque: 85 lb·ft (115 N·m) @ 2800 rpm! Mated up to a 5 speed slush box with a 2 barrel carburetor, I could out run almost anything on 2 wheels (as long as it did not have an engine or being towed by something)

When I bought the 1983 Corolla in 1988, a neighbor had taught all 3 of his spoiled kids to drive it and they destroyed the clutch and then got new cars to go to college.

So I bought the 1983 Corolla with around 100,000 miles for $500.00. The replaced the clutch and had to put a new AC compressor on it (coldest AC on any car I have ever seen since). I never replaced another part on the car. No maintenance other than change the oil once every year or so.

I gave it to my sister a few years later with about 250,000 miles and she drove it for 2 more years before her ex-boyfriend cut all 4 tires on it, broke all the windows and keyed it. So my sister abandon in the parking lot of her work and moved out of town. It was 3 to 4 months later before I found out. I went back to my baby and she had went to the great hunting grounds in the sky.

As you can tell, damn I really miss that car!!!

My first car was supposed to be a 04 Cadillac CTS that had been totaled twice with 87k on the clock that my dad bought for 5000. Ran it to 107k and sold it for 6500. But on my 16th birthday i woke up to go get my license and my dad handed me the keys to his 09 taco with 9k on the clock and she became mine.

Wish i coulda had one of my dads 3 first cars. Had a 69 trans am with a 4 on the floor and a 69 gmc pickup with a 350 bored .30 over with a 3 on the tree. Having those 2 cars his DD was a 82 Buick Skylark that he rolled and caught on fire.
