454 big block V8! She only had 74k original miles on the clock, wish I kept that beast! Probably had more metal in the hood than most cars do today! Sure was a spectacular road car though.

I bought a 1989 Ford Probe brand new with a 2.2L automatic. I still own the Probe, I use it for my back up car.

After all these years, I have replaced the headlight motor and the window motor. The park engage sensor needs to be adjusted because sometimes I have to start it in neutral. Other than that nothing other than oil change and gas.

well MY first car technically was a 05 STi....started driving the family cars (89 ford station wagon, 01 tarus, 95 cadillac deville).....

no...i did not buy the STi myself...parents bought it for me, but they had a deal with me and my two older sisters...if we got a scholarship to college...they would buy us a car of our choice (within reason) since they ended up not having to pay for college...its worked cause their three kids all got scholarships to school (talk about some good incentive)

lets just say in high school knowing that...i took full advantage of it and made sure i got a scholarship to college.
