Nice! When we bought my T-Bird we also looked at a 1970 442 convertible, 455 auto. Needed bodywork. I shoulda bought that instead.

first vehicle was a 1981 chevy c10 silverado baby blue. Blue interior with an eye of the tiger headliner. Had a 305 with an edelbrock carb, weiand intake, and straight pipes and Hoosier's. Absolutely loved it til the motor blew on the way to get it appraised for trade in on the taco.

I buddy of mine had a 70' 442 convertable. Orange and black. Car was sweet. He never drove the damn thing faster than 50mph! Said if he went any faster people couldn't check out the car. He was a bit of a stroke when it came to that car.

In my 7 years of driving, I already have a good history. Got my first car in 02.

1st - 84 Toyota Pickup. 22R, 4-Spd. Best truck ever. Sold it to Mexicans who probably took it across the border.

2nd - 88 Celica. POS, but got me where I needed to go reliably. Ended up throwing a bearing at 120k.

3rd - 82 Chevy C10. Pain in the ass to keep running. Black Hole of gas consumption. Stunning Inline 6 power.

4th - 92 Maxima SE. First year of the VQ. Awesome car, wish I didn't total it.

5th - 86 GMC Vandura 1500. Pimp Van, drove it for a month.

6th - 99 Olds Intrigue. Suprisingly, not that bad. Mostly just boring.

7th - 03 Impala. Wife drove it. Total shit bucket.

8th - 2000 Celica GT. Meh. It was cheap.

9th - 2005 Civic EX. Loved it, dearly missed.

10th - 2008 xB. Good, cheap family hauler.

    11th - 09 DC LB 2WD. 2 weeks in.

Something about that big 'ol 455 that makes my heart race. Those engines thump when idling. Once those secondaries open up it's like watching the toilet flush! Back when GM was building real cars.

First car was a Bradley GT II. I think my ex threw out all my pics of her:mad:, but here it what they look like. It's a kit car on a VW frame.

My first ride was a 1958 Plymouth Fury, Red. 2 years later 1960 Dodge Dart, faded silver-blue sort of. The Fury was taken away by a very angry Dad. He figured I would be safer in a car with a 225 slant 6. He was probably correct.

My dad is 69 yrs old and still has his first vehicle. It's a 1936 British Standard.

My guess is that nobody has ever seen one.
