Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
first handgun was a browning hi power 9mm that was bought for me by my parents when i was ~10 y/o. still have it and still shoots well.

first one i purchased was a taurus 24/7 pro c ds .45. too thick for easy conceal in summer, but used it for my range test and went 50/50. wouldnt mind getting a single stack .40 or 9mm in it's place.

That's only if it goes 'Pew-Pew-Pew-Pew!'
'Pew! Pew!' denotes separate trigger pulls.

I put a hundred rounds through it Saturday and loved every shot, I wish the trigger pull was lighter but that can be fixed

I bought a g23 when I was 20, carried it on duty for several years, put a metric ton of lead down the pipe before I moved to a g35 for duty and the 23 was my carry piece to and from the lot.

I don't shoot it anymore but probably the 1 thats not for sale.

My first handgun was a Bersa Thunder .380. I sold it and missed it to the point that I bought another one a few years after selling. Now I switch back and forth between carrying it and a Glock 30S.

There are a lot of good guns out there and a lot of crap ones (I will never own another Taurus). Just do your research on the gun, ammo (& availability), ballistics of the ammo you choose and the pros and cons of revolver v. semi-auto. The absolute best advice anyone can give as far as buying a gun is to find a range that rents them or a friend that owns what you’re interested in. You can read a million reviews online but you never know how it actually shoots until you do it. Once you get it, practice, practice, practice. Shoot regularly and get snap caps for dry fire practice of trigger control.

My first that I bought, was a CZ85b.
The first one that was given to me was a Colt 1903. I really should have kept that gun, still regret selling it to this day.

I've got one of those; picked it up as a LEO trade-in a couple of years ago. Put some tritium night sites on it. Super accurate gun, and I love that microscopic trigger reset when you're shooting it in SA mode. Had trouble with it cycling when I first got it (FTE's) but I replaced the recoil spring and the mag springs and haven't had a single issue with it since.

The first one I bought was actually two...A Sig P200 in .45 that is my favorite handgun to this day and a little ruger .380 that is surprisingly comfortable to shoot and carry.
