Debadging

 

mine had a 6" pro comp, and alot of other mods on it when I bought it, so first In the process of making it mine got black halo projecters, followed by a couple other exterior mods that fitted my blacked out theme.

 

Well on my current truck, I did interior lights and tint first. Looking for another Tacoma and the first two mods will be the same as my current one. Except with 20% tint.

I bought my truck used, it's an '06 with 50,000 miles.

First thing I did a couple days after getting it was to take off the mudflaps.

I want to take off the badging, but am a little worried that it might show if the paint has faded at all. Any advice on this?? Can I just buff it real good?

 

Long travel, other than stuff needed for suspension my truck is still pretty much stock

Yeah man just use some dental floss or fishing line with a heat gun...once it comes off I would clean the whole truck and just wax like normal...maybe a little more elbow grease in the badge areas, but they are small enough that you shouldn't see any real differences in the paint!!

Stereo and tint

 

First was Konig wheels.
Second item was a Bak-Flip bed cover.
Third was ICON mid-travel suspension.
Fourth was Goodyear Dura-Trac tires.

Still don't have the wheels and tires on the truck.

My first mod was the sutbby antenna. Next is window tint and clear bra. Also going to be derping the front emblem.

 

2 10in JL W1 in a box behind the back seat
