well my first mods have all been done by toyota, but the first mod I actually do will be some sort of method of tuning... Pig rich is not for me then I will probably look into some bumpers and some upgraded diffs... eventually some sort of forced induction but I am not certain yet

 

if stereos count then mine would be installing my dvd deck and sub

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a Tacoma that is pig rich. It's rich enough that it blows black soot on the white paint behind the tailpipe! I've been thinking about complaining to the Toyota dealer and seeing if there is a reflash they can do on the ECU.

 

Lift.

 

I installed an AFE intake, AeroTurbine 2525, and the textured black nerf steps all within a week after I returned from my anti-piracy deployment.... I saved for that stuff while I was gone.

 

Flaps. Doing the little stuff and dressing up the interior while I research the big stuff (lifts, headers, tuning, possibly the SC down the road a year or two).

On deck for September:

- Shorty antenna.
- Get grillecraft inserts stripped and chromed. Hopefully installed if there's time.
- WeatherTechs.

 

Locking gas cap and K&N air filter from the FJC I traded in. Put the regular gas cap and paper filter on the FJC. Tailgate clamp, bed storage cover locks, replaced the rubber cup holders with the older cup holder divider, and bought a receiver shackle for off-road recovery. May lift the truck later, and it needs sliders.

Mud flaps and the lame (IMO) stickers that came with my Rugged Trail Edition. Gonna give BHLM and some interior pieces painted a shot in the near future unless the wife goes into labor in the next few weeks. Then the brakes are on everything for a long while!
