    just curious when the first 4x4 was introduced and was there any differentiation in the naming between the 2wheel and 4wheel or both called pickups

    The Chevy Luv was an Isuzu. I worked at a Chevrolet dealership that was selling them in the early 80s.
    Most of them were rusting apart with in a couple years and the motors were smoking with 60000 miles on them. I think they ditched them when the first S10s came out. I remember the 4 wheel drive ones were tough while they lasted which wasn't very long. In recent years I have only seen one and it had a 350 stuffed in it.
