That's not how Toyota made it's name though.

I have a '96 F550 in the driveway. You're so high off the ground the front seems short.

Truth. I tested for my license on Grandad's 79 Bronco. Taking that up a mountain fire road was considered more an exercise of faith than vision. To be fair we didn't really notice the blind spots as we constantly worried about the woefully undersized drums. Stopping that monster in traffic required a deck of tarot cards and good karma. If you thought the light might turn yellow sometime this week, you'd damn well better start braking now.

Edit: sometime way back in the day Grandad tried to convince me that the height of fashion was dressing like a damn rodeo clown. Don't judge. :anonymous:

Who gives a shit, Toyota has to keep current otherwise they'll go out of business like every other industry that doesn't adapt to technology. Tech is the way Toyota will continue to keep a name for itself instead of going bankrupt and shutting down.

Cause tech breaks and is expensive to fix and is often times mandatory for your vehicle to function.

I find the visibility to be pretty shit all around on this vehicle. Going up steep off road hills is definitely an exercise in trusting your memory. Still love the truck but to say this is not the case would be a lie.

This isn't the 90's where every tech upgrade would break within a few years. Rate of failure has dropped significantly.
Don't worry. If/when the front camera breaks on my truck, I'll post up.

I was speaking to tech in general not the front camera specifically. Actually I'd love to have a front camera. Thanks for the snide reply.

    Mostly dust and dirt.
And yet tech increases the price and becomes the biggest cause of warranty issues.

That is one great picture. Can't believe it has auto hubs.
I look back at old vehicle pictures that I stayed out of just to capture the 'beauty' of the car and wish I had pics of myself, silly or not standing proud and young next to them. Landscapes too. Young people are right to take those selfies (if somewhere nice) Better save them better than you do though.

Inflation increases the price too, invent a time machine and get on with it.

Only if you plan on staying the same size. Lotta people seem to wanna go full-size. They may have the last laugh when the groceries run out.

Except candlestick makers. Their sector got hammered by tech.

I can just imagine them pissing and moaning in their coffee houses about getting “hammered” by “whaling tech bros” and “oil tech bros”; there must have been a concurrent decline in their side market of, um, candle-shaped objects that went out of fashion at the end of the late Victorian, but that was less “tech” and more “culture wars.”

We don’t really call it the dark ages anymore either.

Hey, this thread ain’t half bad!
