OK, so he's another one of those Hollywood types that I've never heard of. What's he got to do with 3rd gen Tacomas?

The problem isn’t the length of the hood, it’s the fact that it doesn’t slope down at all. It’s almost perfectly horizontal the whole length of it. Park next to a Frontier and you’ll see what I mean. I noticed the lack of visibility during a test drive, but I didn’t know it would be so frustrating once I took it off road where I am dodging cobbles and boulders. I guess a front camera is the solution.

I see the front camera as an illusion of a solution. It COULD help, but any off roading I’ve done it’ll be useless 5 minutes into the trail covered in dust or mud if it’s at bumper/grille height. If you mount it higher at a proper angle MAYBE.

Hahah the hood is hilarious to look over when offroading. I just rock the ace ventura whenever I have to. (almost constantly)

Tonight I went to pick up my to-go order at Freebirds. Because of the giant scooped hood I was unable to see the orange plastic chairs that they place on the sidewalk - you know, for those people that want a "patio experience" with the wonderful view of a closed Babies R Us, a half empty Bed Bath and Beyond, and that former carpet warehouse that sometimes is one of those seasonal Halloween costume stores.

Anyways, I whipped right into my prime parking spot, and as usual I had to guess where the parking lot ends and the sidewalk begins, damn visability! I must have been extra hangry tonight, because I totally misjudged it. That damn orange chair was sent flying off my stock bumper and bounced right off the plate glass window. Nothing got hurt this time, but damn I was so embarrassed I forgot to ask for extra guac.

Never again can I show my face in front of the three giggling potheads that work the counter there. I guess I gotta Uber-eats my monster burritos from here on out.

Glad you're okay bro! That is a prime business case for a TRD skid plate and some "selective" yellow, SAE approved obviously, fog lights to highlight those chairs!

After driving an S550 Mustang for 5 years the hood looks tiny to me and the view looks amazing. You could give that a shot if you want a better perspective :p parking has never been easier!
