I'm not sure if they make anything for your Sportster but look up PitBull trailer restraints.
If they don't maybe give them a call, all high quality US made products.
Works great in enclosed trailers. I don't have them in my trailer yet but they are used by many track day and road race teams.

I just looked at their web page, they do make a system for Harley's and your Sportster.

^^ Pitbull trailer restraints are what you want. Rock solid and no tie-downs or ratchet straps required. We used 3 of them for me and my roommates' race bikes in a 6x12 and they are rad.

I just made a cradle out of 2x4's for my bikes. Easy peasy and cheap

There are only two downsides to the Pitbull that I can think of: they are a bit pricey and they are bike specific.

I have one for my BMW GS and it's been great!

I need something that can be removable...it's going down on the floor in my camper and I don't wanna have a tripping point. I found one called loc n load, but the plate still sticks up some where the strap passes through the plate on the chock.

There's not much left when you tear down the pitbull trailer restraint. Just a metal plate and a screw/spacer combo in each corner. Total height is maaaaaybe 1/2".

I found out pitbull makes a set-up for my 08 1200 custom sporty...$359 on pitbull site
I like that it will mount reward in my toy hauler...nothing in the way back there for the install
