i recently got a tacoma and since ive had it, it has has a continuous squeal/ whistle noise coming from what i believe is the front driver side tire area. the noise starts when the trucks starts moving and will stop when the vehicle stops moving and when you make a left turn and the weight is removed from that wheel. what could this be? i took it to the shop today and they said it was from the front left rotor being warped and that i needed front rotors and pads. so i did some searching around on the web and couldnt find anything relating that noise to a rotor? and my brakes feel fine. just dont want to spend on new brakes if thats not goin to fix the noise. any suggestions/advice is appreciated. thanks

Could be a rock stuck in the rotor, or the noise maker in the brake pads, indicating you need them replaced.

^^^ x2 Loosen the brake shield on that wheel and see if anything falls out.

How long has it been doing it? Had a similar experience after wheelin one time. Was a rock wedged between the shield and the rotor.
