Hi everyone...wondering how wide these rims are (did they come in more than one width?) The sticker on the inside of door where the VIN is says 16x7 inch wheels...but I wasn't sure if that meant before any upgrade packages. My truck came stock with 245's on it and it is a 2005 4wd DoubleCab longbed. It's not a TRD. I'm considering putting 265's on it, but wasn't sure if a 7" rim would work well, if these are in fact 7". Thanks for any info.

Those wheels are 7" wide. You can mount a wider tire on them. It is the same wheel that the TRD offroad came with so you can at least go to a 265/70/16. The 70 is the width.

Okay I have a set of these wheels sitting in my garage off the truck so I went out and measured them so this guy gets the info that he is looking for. If you measure to the outside of the beads (I have no idea why you would) then you could say that they are about 7 and a half however the wheel measurement is 16X7! It is the exact same wheels that I just took 265/70/16's off of so go ahead and get that size if you like.

x2 on the above. Mine came with the 265/70/16's and I've seen pics on here of people running 285's on the stock rims with the spacers to keep them from rubbing on the UCA's.

Yeah, 285/75s are the widest you can run on those rims. It's what I'm running.

Too bad that 285's are the widest because I have a set of 295 Nitto TG's that I'm not sure I can fit with the wheels they are on right now, even with the spacers.

Awesome...thanks for the info. Exactly what I needed to know. And by the way, 70 is not the width as some folks think (as in 265/70/16). It is an aspect ratio. It means the tire's sidewall height is 70% of the width, or 70% of 265mm in this case, or 185.5mm.
