What will it take: 09 to 01

What would it take to get this '09 Big Country brush guard to fit on my '01 tacoma? Any advice would be much appriciated!!

 

customer fabrication of new mount brackets. Althought I don't think it is impossible, I think the time(if you are a fabricator) you will spend may not be worth the hassle if it doesn't follow the body and grill lines. Take a look at the pic on their website on the newer Tacoma, it follows the accent lines well - something it won't do on the other truck.

of course, that is just my $0.02

 

Not to mention you would have to make it smaller. The newer Tacoma's are wider than the 1st gens.
