This might be a dumb question but does the SSO hybrid allow for a winch to mount directly to it or do you have to purchase an additional bracket? It's definitely my favorite option I've seen so far.

Are you still able to access your clutch handle with this install? Also, do you happen to have any good shots of how the recovery points tie into the frame? I haven't been able to find a good shot of this.

Clutch handle is accessible , lift hood reach down between grille and radiator. As far as the frame tie in goes,, I'll see what pics I have of it. Don't have truck anymore, got totaled by 18 wheeler

Here's how it ties to frame. Red arrow for 3 (per side) stock bumper mounts and blue arrow has 3 additional (per side) bolts directly into frame rails. Pic 1 is un assembled pic 2 is as assembled when on truck. In my opinion its better tied in than 90% of the winch bumpers available and I never had second thoughts about doing a full weight pull or using a snatch strap off it.

Awesome, thank you for the pictures and information! Sorry to hear about the wreck.
I'm contemplating buying the mount and installing without a winch for now. Saves me from spending money twice on an ARB recovery point, then this, and keeps my future options open to add a winch.

Should fit without having to modify or cut anything, right? Just the removal of the plastic inner plastic crush structure thing?

this is correct, no mods except removal of crash bar. keep in mind if/when you get a winch you will need to remove the mount to bolt the winch on to it then remount to the truck, bolts aren't easily accessible when mounted (also an anti theft perk). you will also have to mount the winch control box somewhere. If you check out my build thread you'll see what i did. start at post #15
