what would used AFE sway-away coilovers be worth? is there any interest in them?

Just bought a used 2004 tacoma, it has an extra leaf in the back and AFE coilovers in the front. The front is about 1.5" higher than the rear and I want it slightly lower in the front than the rear, so I'm going to be taking these coilovers off the truck to adjust them down, but would also consider selling them and putting in some cheaper front shocks with maybe a 1" lift, since I'm not really interested in the performance these offer. what would they be worth?

Set screws are stripped out, but otherwise in good condition as far as I can tell.

What set screws do you mean - height adjustment? The dust cap has a set screw that’ll make them almost worthless if it’s stripped.

he didn’t post a for sale ad. He’s asking what they would be worth. So this is a tread asking for opinions on value.

youd consider spending money to get worse ride quality? stock valved shocks on these are like wobbly pogo sticks

Even if you do a rebuild you would be spending less than it would cost to get a cheaper setup. I am rebuilding a set of saw 2.0s right now. Was about $35 for the O ring kit $20 for the lower bearings and $40 for a gallon of shock oil. Any good off-road shop can give you a bit of nitrogen for about $20. Defently worth fixing what you have. Also a good learning experience.
