    Not me personally, but a few people I know even with chromoly axle shafts have broken them.

    Spacer lifts are the ONLY reason that would happen to your stock Bilstein. I have seen it so many times.

    So no one agrees that after upgrading shocks and spindles next step would be upgrading LCA's or UCA's?

    just got a simple lift on her
    I mean, you can upgrade them, but the stock ones should not be breaking.
    upgraded upper control arms could net you with a little more droop due to the unibal unstead of the ball joint.

    or you could just say fuck it and go full blown long travel :D

    on a stock tacoma, with stock tire size, you'd be hard pressed to break things. That's if you keep the wheeling within the capabilities of a stock truck. Push your limits, and cv's and axle shafts are likely to be the weak links, but that's almost on purpose. They're the cheapest to replace.
