Personally, if I didn't need a truck, I'd probably have a Civic SI. Boring, practical, but still available with a stick for when I felt like having a 'sporting' drive.
Although, I'd still be living in Maine, so maybe a Rav-4 or something of that nature for the AWD. :notsure:

Probably a Rav 4. I like the 4Runner, but would like the smaller body of the Tab. Whenever we get my wife a new car, it will be a rav 4 hybrid.

A 2020 4 Runner if I didn't need the truck bed. If the kids were older I'd go for a new Shelby GT 350 :muscleflexing::drool:.

4-Runner for sure. If that doesn't count then probably a Golf R or STI

A Camaro SS or mustang GT, 6 speed of course.

A used Z06 would be nice, but need the backseats to be able to justify it to the wife, due to the two little ones.

All I can see is Richard Hammond trying to convince Jeremy and James of his vehicles blistering speed. Haha.

To the OP, if I straight up swapped out of a Tacoma, and had a budget, and was responsible — I’d have a new RAV4 Adventure.

But the dreamer in me breaks it down into tiers:

    Budget —
    (1) Less than $60,000: 2020 Tundra TRD Pro double cab,
    (2) Less than $100,000: Lexus LC500 (non hybrid),
    (3) Less than $250,000: Jonathan Ward built FJ62, all black, fully locked, converted to a 5.7L V8,
    (4) Less than $500,000: Lexus LFA.

    (5) Current Status: still in dreamer mode.

Probably someone already said this but I'd buy a jeep Rubicon. I've always wanted one but practicality makes it likely that I'll never own one.

I got the truck I wanted, but if I had to get a car.. I would go with a subaru WRX STi... with some speed mods of course... its still seats 5.. its AWD for the snow (provided you put good all seasons, or winter tires on it), and its a slick little car.. if money were not an issue, and I didnt live in the snow.rust belt... LEXUS LFA.. they are just a sweet sounding, and technologically pack car... the NISSAN GTR would be the affordable alternative..
