I guess you missed the meaning of `up here` as in Canada. Go to Toyota Canada website.

    TACOMA 4X4 ACCESS CAB SR+ From$31,285
    TACOMA 4X4 ACCESS CAB SR5 From$33,760
    Standard Package $33,760
    TACOMA 4X4 ACCESS CAB V6 SR5 From$35,425
TACOMA 4X4 DOUBLE CAB V6 TRD SPORT From$36,490
    TACOMA 4X4 DOUBLE CAB V6 SR5 From$36,670
    TACOMA 4X4 ACCESS CAB V6 TRD OFF-ROAD From$36,895
TACOMA DOUBLE CAB V6 LIMITED From$44,275

The only DC option other than the Sport is the Limited in 4x4 AT

I don`t care for leather seats in a truck or the price Toyota wants for them so the Limited is not an option.

in your case in Toyota.ca, yes they don't offer an ORAC, but then again they offer a lot of other stuff we wish we could get, so its a trade off :)

Yup they make what they think will sell the most of and you can`t fault them for that. We do get a nice package in the Sport with the upgrade package. Works for me.

    Take Care

The BSM is not for when backing, it's for when a vehicle exists or enters your blind spot. When a vehicle approaches from the rear and enters the blind spot zone you are looking forward at that moment. It would be helpful if the alert was in the gauge cluster right in front of you, not solely out on the mirror.

The brightness adjustment is buried 2 or 3 layers into the settings screens. That is not easy or convenient to adjust quickly. A dedicated button would be helpful, just like on my son's cheap little Ford Fiesta.

Why do they not come with homelink built in? I was so surprised that I'm spending $35,000 and I don't even have an integrated garage door opener? I'm taking mine back to the dealership to install aftermarket Homelink, It is only $200 but I was just surprised..

Yeah but the factory remote start isn't that great. The sr I got had no alarm or keyless entry. Annoying at first until you realize that you're better off becuase aftermarket works way better.

The problem I have with aftermarket is that it is usually an extra key fob. I would rather it be integrated into the Toyota smart key

then your buying the wrong brand :) using drone mobile and using the oem fob, saved $25 by not getting the drone fob.

find a pro dealer/installer and ask for pricing. pricing will vary from location to location.

drone is usually cheaper than the full blown security/remote start systems like the T11 top of the line version. since the drone unit really doesn't work that well without the yearly service.

I would have waited to get a 16 but they have to get rid of the stupid areodynamic chin spioler under the front bumper that thing would be ripped off the first mud road i took and change the front the grill is hudge and then they stick the ugliest grill. But otherwise i like it.
