Heated steering wheel, I would trade my truck in just for that.

Then I'd certainly be throwing up a pretty big stink. You were promised something standard and they want to charge you for it?

I'd actually be tempted to tell them to take the truck back and I would buy one at an honest location. Thats complete BS. Sorry you have to deal with it.

    /end rant back on topic.

Front bumper change...granted I just bought a 2015 but at this rate I may be looking for another around 2018. That can't happen with the front end. I wish they had the same front end as the 4 runner, looks much better. Luckily by the time I'm looking again they will have some kinks worked out...hopefully lol

-all windows auto including the feature that audi and vw use,
-being able to open windows from the keyfob when unlocking. Just hold unlock and all windows open (depending how you have it coded)
    -more adjustment on the seat
-heated backrest of the seat, most auto makers only use the bottom, some have the back as well and its so nice in the winter
    -defroster on back window
    -power tailgate lock
-JBL option for all models (canada doesnt have it)
    -better recovery points
-relocate where the USB for audio is. I'm still worried something will fall or I'll reach for the shifter or just something will hit the USB and then break the whole thing.

Problem is not everyone wants to spend an extra $2000 for the tech package just so our headlights turn on at night. Should be standard.

Put the V6 and Manual transmission in the Access Cab SR. Or just make the V6 and Manual Transmission available for all models.

I have a limited. I expect to have the limited options my Avalon has (or the two Toyota cars before it), that would be applicable to a truck. I am spoiled, what can I say.

    -add latching gas cover door
-change the smart entry lock/unlock option to apply to both front doors, not just the driver. The one driver door lock unlock is a pain. Need a sensor on the passenger door also.
-add power seats, with the driver 1 and 2 options
-add heated and cooled seats. I never use heat, just cool.
-add back the front bed rail.
-add power lock and unlock of the tailgate
    - if you won't add a power tailgate, how about adding a second key?
    - change-figure out how to get more leg room for an adult in the back seat
    - add-never had a double cab before, so I don't know how the back window will do in the cold of the Midwest. A defroster might be nice. Don't know. If nothing else, the Colorado's have them, so it would shut some people up.
-change-would be nice if they could tweak that engine to get better mileage
-having a double cab and a sun roof, I can't imagine ever making an effort to get into the back seat to open the rear window. Have had four Coloado's and never had a rear window I could open. Electric, or get rid of it and save the money to use for a locking tailgate, or the lock unlock feature for both front doors?
    - think the person that mentioned having the blind spot indicators on the dash had a real good idea. I would really like that. I think having them light up in the dash and the mirrors would be ideal.

Only had mine a week and haven't played with everything yet.

    check driver settings
you would lose the cloth seats, ventilated seats require leather so the fan can push air thru the seat
2 holes already exist on the bed, not that hard really to add a rail
then it wouldn't be a mid size anymore, it would overlap into tundra size
never had issues needing a defroster back there up to -25F winters
having a horizontal sliding window will just beg for failures, prob cost more than most are willing to pay. full size window like a 4runner or tundra will add bulk to the cab, and the space taken up by the hardware will eat into the back seat area.

Get rid of that Itcandrivesum engine. It's not quick its not powerful ,an it's not fuel efficient. Full sized trucks gets the same MPG as this Mid sized taco.
