    X2

    I've had 2 full size 4x's(1 Dodge, 1 Ford F250) 1-1968 kaiser built jeep cj5
1-82' Suzuki Samurai (still have it) 1- 1983 Toyota SR5 4x w/22R & my current 2000 TRD & the overall best 4x was the 83' SR5 w/solid axle & that 22R was virtually indestructable having retired it after close to 285,000 miles & no major issues, put in 1 clutch,1 water pump & the igniter was also replaced, just oil changes & the occasional tune up w/plugs & wires I miss that truck the most.....:D

    unlimited TJ,
my buddy has a 6 wheel pinzgauer, it has the advantages of a long and short wheel base. Their problem is no wheel travel and narrow wheel axles. but those babies can climb.

I'd choose an I-H Scout, I have been wanting one of those bad boys for years. Plus I just think they are damn sexy.

For STOCK off road capabilities, nothing beats the Wrangler rubicon with it's dual f/r solid axles and lockers. I gotta have a truck though.

I'd go with a Power Wagon, solid front and rear axle with lockers in both. Auto disconnect sway bars, 9 inches of travel and a warn 12k winch.

Very nice. I'd still choose a jeep though for the sticker price and fuel economy vs. the 3/4 ton Power Wagon. I didn't know they came with a winch and lockers though :D

Thinking the same thing. Maybe add a tube buggy if money wasn't tight.
