TRD Exhaust, Toytec Ultimate Lift coming soon!
    Hello Everyone!

    Here is my situation.

I'm moving out of my apartment and my Wife and I are going to move into her parents house(Yea Yea, they move and to Florida! :) ) and I am getting my security deposit back here in a few weeks. We came up with a compromise. I pay off the remaining $200 of a credit card and I get the remaining $700 to "beef" up my truck(her words lol)

I have a 2010 Speedway Blue 4dr. Tacoma longbed with TRD Sport package. I know I want a leveling kit to start off, but what is everyone elses opinion on what I should do with the remaining $500?

I am looking to do a small amount of actual "offroading" so it will mostly be for looks and such for now! Im thinking a new grille, exhaust, intake, maybe some black headlights. Blue and black are the colors im going with!

I have my ideas but it will be interesting to see what everyone else thinks! whatever my decision I will definately post pics!

some 265/70/17 Geolander AT-S or Hankook Dynapro ATM's with the full $700, then sell your stock tires to some schmuck on CL, then purchase your leveling kit with that money

To be honest with you? If you plan on doing some off-roading, you might want to spend more then $200 on a kit to raise your truck. I would put money into a good suspension lift first before any eye candy.

Go with the Bilstein 5100's for the front and back. I'd also add a 2" AAL from Wheelers. If you do the install yourself, you'll have a few extra dollars for some cold beers :D If you don't you may be adding the $200 back onto you're credit card :p.

what about 5100's all around and a AAL in the rear? that might be a better choice.

Yeah the 5100's are a good choice if you dont want to spend lots of cash.;) Then the AAL would be perfect as well.

Well, the grillcraft will only cost you like 180 or something like that. Bhlm is very cheap if you diy...like 30 bux, =/-. What kind of offroading you planning on? Water crossings.. maybe do the diff breather mod. Take a look at the cheap/free mod list. You could get a lot done w/ that 5-700.
