Driving 32k miles a year and you bought a pickup truck that gets 18mpg? I'd sell it and get something 30+mpg, or just get something 30+ mpg in addition

    I wouldn't take a $1,000 hit on a 3 month old car. How stoopid would I look????

Tell the dealership $46,000 is your price, and they have themselves a deal. Don't buckle under pressure.

If that's what you want to do, now is the time to do it. Dealer or private party sale. If the dealer is going to give you $45k, that probably means someone is going to pay closer to $50k for it.

The dealer is low balling you. Sounds like they already have someone who will pay them 55k for your truck. If you want to sell it do so privately and you could probably get the same in the current market.

Sell it, I wouldn't buy a Pro with the intention of keeping it. I'd trade in for a SR SX for a good price.

I had to pay a "Market Adjustment" on my '21 SR5 as well. They didn't get all of it out of me and took some off, but I was less than happy. I didn't have a choice and needed a truck so I guess they won that one. Prices for '22 and up will likely include the '21 adjustment plus some. I'd keep what you have.

Why did you buy it in the first place? You went from a 2019 Tundra to a 2019 Tacoma, then on to the 2021 Pro Tacoma? And now considering a RAV4?

Do you like flushing your money down the toilet?

“Dagobert” Wooden Toilet Throne by Herbeau, $14,123

Named after King Dagobert, the last ruler of the Merovingian dynasty in 8th Century France, this commode has everything a luxury loving person wants. This five-foot-tall toilet looks more like a throne, rather than a toilet. Music, candleholder, ashtray…

I bought a new 2014 Rav4 and put 19,000 miles on it and hated not having a truck and traded it . Tacoma gives you the best smiles per miles .

We all do it. Life lessons suck.

If I were you, I’d get a high mpg car. Something quiet and easy to drive.

I have no idea what to suggest but I’d probably be looking at an Accord, Camry, etc.

    Good luck.

    Sell the Pro for 50k.

I'm not sure how the car tax, registration, etc. work in Ohio, but here in Colorado, in that 3 months of ownership I would have paid about $4500 for sales tax, title, registration, etc. which puts my total cost at about $51,500 for your TRD Pro. So I'd be losing $5,500ish by selling it. Oh, and not to mention the my auto loan fees as well. So, that's a hell no from my perspective.

When I finished laughing....I would say, "Thank you, but No. Good luck finding the truck you need. Bye." Or if I was feeling like being an A55, then I'd start with the 20 questions to consume as much time as possible.....then refuse to sell.

Not too good. You likely paid sale tax on it so you’d be behind. Also, what do you do then? You no longer need it or want it?
