ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Trying to figure out why people don't give a shit about anything that's not theirs. So I go to hop in my truck this morning to discover my front bumper is scratched to shit this morning and covered with white paint transfer from whatever asshole backed into me last night. This is the second time I have been hit while parked:mad: but to make things worse no note either time!!! Luckily they hit the bumpers both times but still I am pissed.
So on to my question what would you do if you hit someone and thought you could get away with driving off? Would you leave a note? I like to think that people would do the right thing but have been proven wrong twice now. Well its about time for a aftermarket bumper anyways....

Yes, I would leave a note for sure if I could not find the owner first. People these days are just asses that dont care about anything but themselves. There are also a bunch of people driving with either no license, suspended license, no insurance, no registration, etc... and these people need to get their fucking act together and do whats legally right. Which is "DONT DO IT IF YOUR NO SUPPOSED TOO!" Sorry about the rant but I have come across way to many vehicle accidents were people almost get killed or seriously injured by people that shouldnt be driving in the first place!!! Just think if it was your family or children that got hit by a person that had a suspended license or something of that nature and dont tell me it wouldnt piss you off!!:fenforcer:

Thanks for all the replies, I am glad to see a few were honest and said they would leave. To give further detail both times the bumpers were dented and visible damage was done. I know its a public forum but any one who voted they would leave care to explain?

Well, I pay attention in parking lots, so I don't hit parked cars.

But, if I were to nick one, I'd leave a note or wait for the owners to come out.

If there was damage I would leave a note. If not, I would not. But most likely if it was loud enough to hear, there is some damage.

Karma's a bitch that I don't want on my back. I'd leave a note if I couldn't find the owner of that vehicle.

Couple years ago, I accident hit the park car. I see very small damage on their car. So I wrote a note with my name and phone number. Driver saw me put the note to the wiper. Ask me what I am doing and told them the truth and he look at the damage. He told me don't worry about it and move on.
I will feel guilty if I don't write the note. Somebody hit and run on my rear driver side bumper last Friday. Small dent with some scratch. Piss me off and I don't see the note. Bastard!

People also seem to think that making a dent in the side of your vehicle when they fling their door open is not worth writing a note over.

People have no respect for other peoples' property.
